Homer Bailey Pitches No Hitter… again

Homer Bailey brought his A-Game to the ballpark against the San Francisco Giants last night. He dominated the Giants, pitching the first no hitter of the 2013 MLB season.

No hitters are rare, but this one was extra special. Bailey was also the last pitcher to pitch a no hitter in 2012, which makes him the first pitcher since Nolan Ryan in 1974-1975 to pitch MLB’s consecutive no hitters.

For the season, Bailey is a modest 5-6 with a 3.57 ERA while striking out 111 in 111 innings.
