Don’t Celebrate on the Field? Not a Problem for the Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the NL West with a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks today. Prior to the game it was rumored that the Diamondbacks asked the Dodgers not to come back on the field and celebrate if they were to clinch the division. The Dodgers clinched and decided to honor the Diamondbacks wishes by celebrating in the Chase Field pool located in center field… which, technically, is not on the field.

Some people are calling the Dodgers classless for doing this, but I think it was classless to ask the Dodgers not to return to the field and celebrate. The Dodgers earned the division title and if the Diamondbacks didn’t want them celebrating on their field – win the game.
