The Pennsylvania Farm Show is ready to kick off in Harrisburg, and to kick things off the annual butter sculpture was introduced. This year’s half ton sculpture depicted young children receiving milk from a dairy farmer and playing catch with a football player.
Why the football theme for a farm show? Easy, to symbolize the dairy industries partnership with the NFL in actively promoting eating healthy food and exercising daily. You may have heard of the NFL’s Play 60 campaign.
Perfect, let’s show our support of eating healthy with 1000 pounds of butter! But its the thought that counts and the sculpture did come out extremely well.
