Ron Artest is ready to enter a new chapter of his life. His attorney has officially filed paperwork to legally change his name to Metta World Peace. In a move last publicly seen by Chad Ochocinco, formerly Chad Johnson, Artest is ready to become a new person, so to speak.
Artest is quite the character. He is the infamous person behind the Brawl at the Palace in 2004. Since, then he rebounded nicely with the Houston Rockets before signing with the Los Angeles Lakers and helping them win a championship in 2010.
He never fails to entertain, whether its thanking his psychiatrist or riding a race car down the streets of LA. He is a less charismatic, just as quotable version of Shaq.
