2014-15 NFL Picks: Week 5 Against the Spread

Welcome to Week 5 of the NFL.

It is definitely true that in the NFL anything can happen. Who expected the Vikings to drop 41 points last week with Teddy Bridgewater making his first career start? Who saw the Bucs beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh, the week after getting embarrassed on Thursday night? Who predicted the Cowboys would be 3-1 and seem like legitimate contenders after their week 1 performance against the 49ers? Not I.

That leads to Week 5, there are several interesting story-lines highlighting this week. First, Alex Smith makes his return to San Francisco to face the 49ers, will he be able to make the 49ers regret replacing him? Can the Cardinals remain undefeated with a back-up quarterback in Denver? Only time will tell, be sure to tune in this Sunday and enjoy the show.

The Best Bet is the team I believe has the best chance to win and cover the spread. Home teams are in CAPS.
